Conflict is escalating in Yemen, putting a severe strain on the health system. The country is already struggling with food insecurity, malnutrition, and disease outbreaks. A significant number of people are in need of health assistance, with an estimated 19.3 million requiring aid in 2026.

However, due to resource constraints, only 7.3 million have been prioritized for urgent response. Funding for the Health Cluster is also a concern, with only 18% of the required funds covered so far. The needs are particularly severe in certain areas, where 90 of the priority districts are located.
