Heavy monsoon rainfall has caused severe flash floods and landslides in southeastern Bangladesh. The affected areas include Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, and other nearby districts. Flooding and landslides have damaged homes, schools, and health facilities, disrupting livelihoods and water systems.

28 million people have been affected, with around 436,000 in need of humanitarian assistance. Many shelters have been damaged or destroyed, and some communities have been temporarily displaced. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed, but it is known that at least 59 deaths have been reported.
