Refugees returning to their home country require immediate support to cover essential needs and facilitate their movement to destination areas. To address this, an integrated assistance program has been put in place, including cash, food, and non-food items, as well as support for secondary transportation. Each returned individual receives monetary assistance equivalent to 200 USD, among other forms of aid.
The assistance program also provides three months of food rations and essential items. An additional allocation is given to help cover the cost of reaching their final destination. The program covers households that returned between January and November 2025.
Further details about the program are available, including the number of communes covered and the organizations involved in providing support.
