A joint project between the European Union and FAO aims to boost climate resilience of agrifood systems. The initiative will support vulnerable households, including returnees and internally displaced people, with a focus on women and youth. Four one-stop service hubs will be established to connect farmers and rural entrepreneurs with agricultural advice and markets.

These hubs will promote improved practices and technologies, and provide access to climate analysis and early-warning information. The project also includes restoration of degraded forests and rangelands, and support for community-led nurseries. Further details on the project's objectives and implementation are available from the source.

The initiative is expected to have a positive impact on food and nutrition security, as well as economic opportunities, in targeted districts.
