A former Minister of the Interior and current parliament member was found guilty by a high court. The individual, a medical doctor and grandmother, had written about biblical views on human relationships. This action was deemed a crime under certain laws.
The case against this person began several years ago after a social media post. A probe by police did not recommend charges, but a prosecutor pursued the case. Lower courts initially found the person not guilty, but the prosecutor appealed these decisions.
