Satellite imagery analysis has revealed the extent of mudflow and rockflow in an area of approximately 350 km². The affected area covers around 37 km² of land, with about 120 km of roads potentially impacted. Building footprint data indicates that roughly 5,000 buildings are exposed to or near the affected areas.

The analysis is based on imagery from Sentinel-2 and PlanetScope, acquired on 26 and 27 August 2026. Further details on the affected areas and buildings are available from the source. The highest concentration of potentially affected buildings is found in two municipalities, with around 2,600 and 1,030 buildings respectively.
