A recent analysis has estimated that around 10 km² of land is affected by floodwaters. This is based on imagery from certain satellites. The total area that was analysed is approximately 103 km².

People living in certain areas are exposed to the flooding. The numbers are estimated to be around 4,800. Some of these people are in specific rural municipalities.
