A recent analysis has identified areas affected by natural disasters. The affected land covers around 20 square kilometers. People living in certain areas are exposed to the effects of these disasters, with estimates suggesting around 2,000 individuals are at risk.

The analysis is based on satellite imagery from two different sources. Demographic data has been used to estimate the number of people affected. Most of those affected live in two specific rural municipalities.

Further details are available from the United Nations Satellite Centre, including a map illustrating the extent of the affected areas. This information is preliminary and has not been validated.
