Lebanon has experienced multiple crises, including a financial collapse and the Beirut port explosion, which have impacted state-citizen relations. These events have also intensified existing governance challenges. Research was conducted from March to December 2025 to understand how citizens view the current social contract.

The study aimed to identify priorities for a renewed and inclusive social contract, as well as the barriers and opportunities to achieving it.
