A total of 1153 suspected dengue cases were reported during the 36th week. This represents an 11% decrease from the previous week, when 1295 cases were reported. The Western Province accounted for nearly half of the total cases, with significant contributions from the Colombo, Gampaha, and Kalutara districts.
Notable case contributions were also reported from several other areas, including Kandy, Kegalle, and Ratnapura. The distribution of cases across different districts is detailed in a table. Further information on the dengue case reporting is available from the Sri Lanka National Dengue Control Unit's Weekly Dengue Update.
