Applications for international protection totaled 1,648 between January and November 2025, a 7 per cent decrease from the same period in 2024. The top countries of origin for these applicants were Eritrea, Syria, and Algeria. A protection rate of 56 per cent was recorded during this time.
Temporary protection applications and renewals were also processed, with 1,070 applications and 3,865 renewals. A total of 902 individuals were granted temporary protection.
