Refugees from Ukraine have been receiving support in Romania. As of the end of June 2026, a total of 215,532 refugees have obtained temporary protection and refugee status in the country. Community-based protection activities have been provided to nearly 2,000 refugees this year.

Additionally, thousands of refugees have received protection counselling services, legal support, and livelihood and employment services.
