In the local area, the World Food Programme provided assistance to 81,000 refugees in July. This included food assistance in camps, with a reduced cash transfer value. The majority of those assisted were roughly evenly split between males and females.

Further support was also provided through training programs. Participants in Za'atari and Azraq camps received training in areas such as information technology and vocational education. More information on these initiatives is available from the World Food Programme's Jordan Country Brief for August 2026.
