Food assistance has been provided to households in the area. As of May 2026, a total of 105,813 households received rice bags. The recipients were mostly female, making up 53 percent, while males accounted for 47 percent.

The distribution of rice is a key part of the effort, with 4,354 metric tons of rice handed out.
