In Sudan, incidents of violence against health care have been reported. The Safeguarding Health in Conflict Coalition identified 134 such incidents in 2025. This number is lower than in previous years, with 274 incidents reported in 2024 and 280 in 2023.

Health facilities were damaged or destroyed in some of these incidents, and health workers were also affected. The majority of incidents impacted local health care providers working within national health care structures.
