Floods are forecasted in the Northern Tonle Sap Basin over the next 10 days. To prepare, residents can take steps to protect their orchards. This includes raising soil mounds around young trees and opening diversion channels to lead water to safe outlets.

Residents are also advised to secure their orchards and protect roots from standing water. Additional precautions include moving tools and fertilizers to higher shelves and mulching with dry rice straw. Further details on flood preparation and response are available from the Agrometeorological 10 days Bulletin for the PEARL Project area.
