A lessons learned exercise was conducted regarding the arboviral outbreak in Cuba. Cruz Roja Cubana developed a workshop to evaluate the response to this emergency, which was implemented over a nine-month period. The workshop allowed for a participatory evaluation of the successes, challenges, and opportunities that arose during the operation.

This exercise is part of internal review actions and serves as a strategic tool to strengthen the national emergency response system. The operation was executed through the Disaster Response Emergency Fund of the IFRC. Further details about the exercise and the operation are available.

The workshop's findings can help improve future emergency responses.
