In Northern Mozambique, progress has been made in providing shelter and non-food items to vulnerable populations. As of June 2026, nearly 94,000 individuals have received assistance despite limited funding. Partners have established a strong presence in key districts, including Memba, Metuge, Chiure, and Mecu, where aid has been delivered on a large scale.

Organizations such as Caritas Nacala, IOM, and SI have led the implementation efforts. Further details on the shelter response and non-food item distributions are available from the Shelter Cluster's operational dashboard for June 2026.
