A total of 1802 suspected dengue cases were reported during the 34th week, representing a 31% decrease from the previous week. The Western Province accounted for the majority of cases, with 52.6% of the total. Notable contributions also came from other areas, including Kandy, Galle, and Kurunegala.
The Colombo Municipal Council contributed 3.8% of the total cases, while the rest of Colombo District, Gampaha District, and Kalutara District accounted for 20.7%, 20.5%, and 7.5% respectively.
