Recent humanitarian efforts have focused on supporting displaced populations. Over 17,000 people were displaced due to insecurity, with more than 8,800 of them being children. Health interventions have been implemented to reach affected populations, including measles vaccination for nearly 21,000 children and services for over 9,000 people through mobile brigades.

Further details on the humanitarian situation and response efforts are available from the UNICEF Mozambique Humanitarian Situation Report No. 5, which provides information on nutrition services, education interventions, and child protection services.
