A recent emergency contribution of USD 2 million from Japan will support families affected by conflict. This funding will enable assistance for 147,000 people, covering 30 days of basic food needs. Priority will be given to families who have been displaced or lost their source of income due to the crisis.
The assistance will be provided in the form of emergency food packages, containing essential items such as rice, pasta, and canned tuna. Each household will receive three rounds of these packages. The implementation of this assistance will be coordinated with a national emergency response partner.
Further details about this contribution and the planned assistance are available from the source. The funding is expected to support 36,750 households with emergency food assistance.
